The Panther Regiment is the Bloomington High School South marching band. The Panther Regiment works hard and has a lot of fun! We are known for performing with great energy and for entertaining crowds all over Indiana. We have earned a Gold rating in the Indiana State School Music Association (ISSMA) Marching Band Scholastic Prelims three years in a row!
We have also qualified for ISSMA Scholastic Finals for three consecutive years, placing 8th in 2022 and 7th in 2023! While last season was great, we are looking to build on our success and have a fantastic 2025 marching band season!

The Panther Regiment is a very welcoming group of people and a great way for incoming freshmen and eighth graders to meet a whole new group of friends at South. It is also an exciting and rewarding musical opportunity where students will experience many trips, performances, and create wonderful memories that will stay with them well past high school!
